SONA PU 100 (PU)
- Base : Polyurethane Elastomer
- Application : Footwear, for bonding synthetic soles with upper. it is used as a Single Component Adhesive and also can be used as Two Component Adhesive after mixing with 2-3% hardener Yamadur H-20 / R-22.
- Solvent : Ketonic with aromatic solvents.
- Viscosity : 750 - 900 cps at 30ºC.
Method of Application
- It is preferable to use the adhesive mixed with cross linking agent like Yamadur H-20 in the ratio of 3 - 7 % by volume in order to attain better durability of bonded surfaces, resistance to higher service temperature and wider bonding range. The surfaces to be joined, are to be made free from dust, oil and grease. A thin layer of Hardener-added adhesive is to be applied on the surfaces to be bonded. Track-free adhesive films on both substrates are to be heat activated at around 70 degree centigrade and then pressed together with uniform pressure. Final peel strength will be achieved after 24 hours.
Caution
- Highly inflammable. Replace lid immediately after partial use. Store in a cool and dry place. Adhesive mixed with cross linking agent has limited Pot life. To avoid wastage, mix only the amount required.
